Dec 23, 2016
Welcome to part two of the twelve tips of Christmas! You haven’t got long now before the big day so it’s time to get those websites up to scratch! And if it’s too late for you to make the most of these festive tips, don’t worry because they can all be done in the New Year - so be sure to make a note of them!
7 – Flipbooks
If your company offers catalogues or other paper based sources of information like prospectuses a flipbook can be a great addition to your website. Not only do they save paper and are good for the environment, they will also save you money and time in the long run.
Flip books are accessible wherever your clients may be, can’t be lost and provide easy links to adverts or other useful sites. If you are looking to change your site for the New Year and want to save some money as well, a flip book is perfect for you.
8 – Blog posts
Blog posts are a brilliant way of letting customers keep up to date with your business as well as improving your SEO ranking in Google, and the New Year is a great time to start one! You can write about industry news, what’s going on in your own company or any relevant topics.
Should you get stuck, we have written a blog all about topics to base your posts on – take a look here.
9 – Infographics
These fun little graphics are great for your social media presence, they are proven to engage people more than just text and you can tailor them to the time of year too. You could have a festive infographic, a Nye infographic, even a Hanukkah one!
You could do an end of year design giving some stats on how your company has done that year – whether it be the amount of projects you have completed, the percentage of good feedback you have received or the hours your staff have consecutively worked! They’re fun and engaging for both your followers and your company!
10 – Virtual Tours
If you have some impressive premises that you want to show off a virtual tour is a great way to do this. You can open up your business to those who may not otherwise be able to access it such as those who live far away or the disabled and you get to shout about the great locations you have on offer!
We have written all about the benefits that come with having a virtual tour on your website – take a look here.
11 – Apps
Making an app for your business is a great way to stay ahead of the mobile first indexing trend that’s sure to dominate 2017. People now use their phones more than they use any other devices to access the internet, so having an app means that you will be accessible to your customers at all times.
They also help to build up your brand and promote customer loyalty through the ease of being only a tap away. Take a look at our past blog post to see all the benefits of having an app for the New Year!
12 – Drones
Although drones come with strict guidelines for flying and commercial uses, if you follow these you are sure to benefit from them. You can capture images from never before seen angles and really put the wow factor into your website or other promotional materials.
We have come up with some top tips when it comes to flying drones, but if you really want to make the most of your gadget, its best left to the professionals. We have plenty of experience using drones for video, get in touch to find out more.
