Introducing The Mevo Camera

Facebook have made it easier than ever to steam live video from wherever you are in the world recently with the introduction of the Facebook live feature, but have you heard of the Mevo camera? It’s an all new device that has integrated Facebook live streaming as well as having easy on the go editing tools built in. You can switch angles with the touch of a button and without any need to move the camera, making it appear like you have an elaborate multi camera set up when in fact you only have one, the Mevo camera! The idea behind this camera is to almost have a television studio in your pocket – making streaming for vloggers or businesses much more professional.
The smart little device is small and easy to transport with minimal equipment needed, the only downside is its battery life. It will run independently for only an hour, but if you plug it in you can stream for as long as you want. Of course, if you want the freedom of streaming on the go wherever you want, there is also an add on you can buy which will boost the power so it lasts for up to 10 hours.
Another impressive quality to the Mevo camera is that if you want to get behind the camera yourself, it can be automated to make edits for you. It does this by detected faces and movement as well as who is talking – obviously it may not be the perfect cut but it will make the video a lot more interesting than just a single camera wide shot throughout.
Not all video recorded on this device has to be live streamed either; you can just record yourself or your subject and save it to post later on. The camera is controlled through an app on your phone, so it’s very easy to cut between angles and make edits, as well as having its own built in speakers.
The Mevo camera is aimed mostly at business or performers who would want to stream events for longer periods of time – so holding up a phone is no longer convenient. It allows you to keep your phone on you and usable whilst also taking and editing video content – great for business!
