10 Of Our Favourite Stock Images Of 2017
Dec 22, 2017
Often, when designing and building a new website for a client, we ask them if they have their own imagery, if they’d like us to arrange a photoshoot for them, or if they’re happy to use stock imagery. Often the latter option will be received with a look of horror.
“Don’t worry!”, we assure them, “Stock images aren’t like they used to be, there are some fantastic high-quality photographs out there which we can use on your website and will appeal to your target audience.”
Although this is true, we do occasionally stumble across some magnificent photographs which we can’t resist sharing with you.
So here it is, our final blog post for 2017 - these are genuinely the words we searched for! We hope you enjoy these as much as we did...
1. Airplane
There is something rather lovely about this graceful whale guiding these people through the...sky? But we can't help but wonder who would ever require this image!
2. BUSINESS
Here at The Creation Lab, we fancy ourselves as being a fun bunch however, these people are taking things to the next level...
3. cAR wHEELS
When designing the website for Dynes earlier this year, we decided against using this image in the end...
4. dRAINS
Content Writer Deena assures us she searched for "Drains" when searching for a stock image to accompany her latest blog post for Happy Drains...
5. fEMALE bUTCHER
My goodness, this certainly wasn't what we had in mind to promote Dartford Market!
6. Handshake
Just think, someone has taken the time to plan this photo and purchased a fish especially....
7. Man and Woman
There we were, dreading the stereotypical immaculate posing couple, gazing longingly into eachother's eyes...
8. Solicitor
As there wasn't a 'Saucepan' section on the Rich & Carr website, we were unfortunately unable to find somewhere to put this image...
9. Selfie
To be honest, we've seen worse!
10. Christmas Tree
And finally, what could be better to get you into the festive spirit than this chirpy chap?
Have a wonderful Christmas everyone, and see you all in 2018!
